Hi,
Can somebody tell me how an encoder(JM) can be forced to generate bitstreams in which the B frames have all MBs coded :
1.in direct mode AND
2. with fractional Motion vectors.
1. is easy by artifically forcing a very low direct mode cost and thus the encoder always chooses direct mode.
2. But i am not able to figure out how to force all the direct mode MVs to be fractional( non-integer-pel)? Is this possible and if yes, how does one do it?
Any hints would be gratefully received
