DVD Flick- project burning error

Hello all,

I set up a DVD flick project to encode and burn over night.

Ive woken up to find there was an error in one of the eleven titles.

Seems stream 0 codec frame rate differs from container frame rate: 50.00 (50/1) -> 25.00 (25/1)

Ive deleted the title.


Ive checked the destination folder and the rest of it all seems in order. The titles play ok.
So Id like to try again with the burn.

Is there a way to do this without DVD Flick deleting all the work it did over night (the destination file is 4GB in size) and starting afresh?

My recommendations would be:

In Project Settings => General
check "keep intermediate encoded audio and video files"

In Project Settings => Burning
uncheck both Create ISO Image and Burn Project to Disc

instead let it output VIDEO_TS folder. Then use Imgburn to burn the disc.
It's also a good idea to have some erasable DVD discs for test burns to see
how they play on the hardware player before burning to disc. Once you are
confident in your setup you can usually dispense with the test burn.

edit: note that Imgburn can burn DVD+RW erasable as if it's a DVDR. You just have to format the erasable the first time. After that quick erase is enough to clear it before another burn. Many players will play this disc just like a DVDR. I've had 3 different model Philips DVD players and they all played DVD+RW fine. Of course the erasable type should be whatever is compatible with your burner. I use Maxell DVD+RW 8x as it burns a DVD5 pretty quickly.
