    Remote Access to Webcam

Hi....I am trying to use my FOSCAM wireless webcam to monitor my house when I am away. I can access the webcam and view the streaming video on my internal LAN & port number but, cannot seem to view it from a remote location through the internet.

I have a dynamic IP address. I have gone in to the router and forwarded the internal LAN IP address with the port I want. I have a free DNS service (no-ip.org) account to my dynamic ip address.

I am sorta of stumped at this point. If anyone can give assistance, I would appreciate it.

    Thanks,

    jmet

I haven't done these myself. This video does everything with static IP. But towards the end he shows some jazz about updating the dynamic IP from his ISP by logging into the web cam account. Or something like that. There seems to be no way shown to fully automate the dynamic IP update. But it shows setup both the service you are using and Dyn DNS.

Thanks for sharing the link! Exactly what I'm looking for! I'm also currently setting up cctv at home and I want to access it anytime and anywhere I am through internet.

I wanted to try this too but I'm afraid that my webcam gets hijacked and someone else can gain access to it too, is that possible? :S

edit: which is the main reason why I don't want a Kinect-required Xbox One
