I use a Windows Vista system on a Dell Inspiron 5315 (2007 vintage). I am trying to burn a few discs before upgrading to a new computer and the Roxio program is so slow that it doesn't even list a speed and, at this rate, it will take about 4-5 days to burn one DVD. I have attempted to go into the ATA/ATAPI and check the drives but when I click on the Advanced Setting tab, there is nothing there, only a blank screen. Microsoft techs have been fiddling around with this computer for a few weeks so I don't know what they have done. Do I need to download something or just uninstall and reinstall the drive? I am not a techie so if anyone can help, please walk me through it. Thank you for any assistance you can give.
