Default Mini DV tape problem...

I have a MiniDV tape that I was going to play today. What I didn't realize is that the tape had gotten some coke spilled on it in the past and is now nice an sticky. To make a long story short, the actual tape streached and broke apart, leaving me with some on each side of the break. Is there a such thing as a mini dv reel to reel device? What would be some other options to repair this tape with the least expense?

Thanks!
