    Problem with audio

First of all, love this tool and the guide! I've done about 8 movies so far and have all turned out great except the last one.

The audio seemed to be about 10 seconds ahead of the video for the entire length of the movie, it doesn't get any better or any worse if you scroll through it.

I loaded it into virtualdubMod and sure enough the video is 1:25:08 and the audio is 1:24:59 which is about the 9 seccond difference I'm experiencing.

The only thing that is different about this movie I've noticed is that usually the delay will be something like "384Kbps DELAY -66ms.ac3" but this movie is actually not a negative delay but a positive one "448Kbps DELAY 12ms.ac3".

The first time I encoded the movie I forgot to check "fix delay" but when I did it the second time it came out with the same 9 second delay.

I know this is probably an easy fix, I just don't know what that fix is.

    Thanks for any help everyone.

p.s. I deleted everything and started over from the DVD rip just to make sure something didn't get screwed up along the way.

i'd try to encode the audio stream only - you dont have to repeat the video transcoding.

pls try converting ac3 to ogg with besweet since i cannot judge if maybe dvx might have a bug though i havent heard any such flaw so far.

you should be able to create an ogg audio stream with besweet/gui and mux this new audio with your existing avi:

never ever used me, but .net works fine on 98se as well, thus it should run with me, too.

                    yes, i see

on the italian page of m$ theonly supported so appear xp and 2k

on the english page 98 and me too.

maybe italians are too lazy to write down a list with all the os

                    thanx

                        Can it do:

                        DVD - DivX
                        DVD - SVCD
DVD - OGM (I dont know what ogm is but sounds like a AVI Rip off)

If it can it will be good.

All the software out there sucks ever Dr DivX won't do DVD - DivX properly.

DVX is NOT supposed to create vcd/svcd - use dvd2svcd instead.

since ogm is a container format (and a much better one than avi) dvx can either create the basic videofile or even do soundcreation and muxing as well.
