Thanks again for your continuing development. Now that beta-stage is over, what i miss is a short explanation of the checkmark options.
while some are self-evident (ie:create undo point), maybe it is not clear how they work (ie:force text datasegment reauthor) or they are not clear unless the user has some knowledge of dvd´s structures (Use VMG Menu first...). Although some of them have been discussed-explained by you in this forum during development of program, i think it aint a bad idea to include a pop up explanation, or a explanation for every option under Help menu.
    Best regards

FallenAngel - This may be just what I'm looking for but to be honest I can not seem to figure out how to get it to work. Is there a manuel that gives step by step instructions on how to use this for someone like myself that's not a "computer person"? I've seen the "use DVDLab Pro" sheet and it makes no sence to me as I do not have this program. I have DVDShrink, DVDDecryptor, and Nero (that came with the burner). To get your program to work am I going to have to buy DVDLab Pro? Any help in using your program would be appreciated.

      Thank you.

If you just want to add a simple menu from the templates provided just start TitleWriter, Open the shrunk Video_ts.ifo, probably hit create Undo, add your title/Volume names and hit Save. You will be prompted for a menu template (if Add menus checked) -- select folder containing template that most closely matches your Dvd -- Blink a few times -- its done.

If you want to create your own templates. Creating a menutemplate is just creating a dummy dvd with a menu on it. Dvd_labPro?.beta is the easiest proggie for newbies with advanced options( You can really go wild/crazy with the custom stuff) . There is a 30 day Demo. DvdLabPro is a beta -- doesn't handle compression well and has sync problems. Doesn't matter as you will only be using the menu.

Force segment reauthor - Some Dvd's contain a bad Dvd_text table -- (you'll Know it when you hit one) it just wipes it out and creates a compliant Dvd_text data segment

Vmg First Play - Shrink sets pre commands to start with movie. This allows skilled users option of having pre command control. This just copies Pre command area (Vmg) from template instead of leaving it alone. (if you don't know what it means don't do it)

I just popped this ver. out as a guy wanted essentially a template to reach multiple VTS's (compilation Dvd I assume greater then 4)

Still working on the Add Original menu's

I'm sorry but this just did not work and I do not know how to make it work. I have two folders on the desk top - each folder has a "reauthored" clip from a movie (about 43 minutes, 1.8gigs) created from DVDShrink that I want to put on ONE dvd with your menus allowing me to pick which clip I want to play. Either one of the clips plays by it's self either on the PC or I can burn either one to a dvd using Nero and it will play on the stand-a-lone player. How do I get both of them on ONE dvd with your menus? I feel I'm close but it's just not working with your 4 lines of information.

Actually I think your question is more how to use Dvd Shrink. Ok Here goes open dvdshrink->>reauthor mode->> File Browser- Open folder containing one of your clips. Drag/Dblclick titles to left frame. (Anaylsis happens) then open other folder repeat Drag/Dblclick. Edit your movies as you please. From what you said you should have 2 titlesets. Reduce Dvd Size about a Meg (edit->>preferences>>custom) hit backup). when done fire up TitleWriter as stated above -- In this case you will probably use menu4Eposodic for chapter support on your 2 clips. TitleWriter is a post shrink step

Heres a better How To guide to dvdshrink compiliations
