I have the divx 4.11 codec installed on my comp. and in all tutorials it says that the codec should contain 2 codecs, one low motion and one fast motion.
My version only content one called "DivX Codec 4.11" Have I got a bad copy of the installation file or are the writers of the tutorials wrong? Best Regards "The Nisse Man" ![]() Ps. My divx codec 3.xx contains two versions Ds. |

As far as I can tell this a different codec to 3.11 so it desn't have low or high motion codecs.
To learn how to use it go to: http://www.digital-digest.com/nickyguides/DivxBeta.htm It's a damn good guide. cheers Homerlovesbeer |

4.x has a two pass encoding system that is selected in the code 'c' config panel. The drop down menu variable bitrate contains the option two pass-first pass and two pass-second pass options. You encode the movie using the first option then the second over writing the first giving you a viewable avi. There is also the option of one pass encoding just like in 3.11
