does anyone know how to rip the menu's from a DVD and convert to DivX?
I have ripped all the vob files and none are the menu screens (I'm ripping the new Green Day DVD which has the main menu plus 4 sub menu's & a load of inbetween bits that I'm trying to get). any help would be appreciated |

To be honest I don't think DivX was intended for ripping the whole DVD, only the film or extras/subtitles. The menus on DVD's are programmed differently and aren't strictly video streams, plus if you ripped them, you'd need to find some way of reconsructing them in the correct sequence. I doubt if most players could handle that (although I'm not a programmer so don't quote me on that!) Your only real option is to re-create the menu's yourself on a VCD!
