divx too mpeg

i must be dense, lol

i've looked and looked, but still cant find a tool that will convert divx back to mpeg

if you know of one, please tell

Mpeg-1 or mpeg-2?
It's pretty easy to do 1 but not so simple for 2 I think...
TMPGEnc can do divx video + PCM audio to mpeg-1 conversion

havent a clue what you mean m8.

got a disc off a bloke that has 2 files(the 2 parts) of a movie

all i wanna do is make it an mpeg, so i can turn it into a vcd,

but stuck on how to convert to mpeg

maybe i'll just not bother, if its too much hastle, but if ya can help please do.

Maximum6 allready helped you perfectly. VCD is MPEG-1 and then TMEGEnc is the right tool.
