I've ripped the subtitle of a movie that contains the "&" character. But when I play the Divx-movie with subtitles, instead of showing the "&" it shows "_" (an underscore). Why is this??
Is there a command I can use instead, or maybe the "&" character has to be written in ASCII-code?? To have italics in the subtitle I use the characters {y:i} in front of the sentence I want in italics style. Is there a simillar method for the "&" character?? Hope to have your expert advise on this one..... |

Found the answer by e-mailing.
Just put a "&" in front of the "&" character - i.e. "&&". Then the output is just one "&". Of course without the quotes. Works like a charm. |
