    freezeing / non responsive

    problem:

    updating my computer new O/S installed. programs loaded.. when trying to run these programs the computer seems to freeze up although i can still move the mouse and click on things altought nothing happens.. is not malware as i have not been on the internet as yet..

    i 1st thought it could be the motherboad so i changed it nope not it. added more ram still doing it.

    i really need some help with this situation.

    Spec's
    O/S Windows XP Pro
    motherboard = AOpen AX34 Pro
    P3 running 800mhz
    Ram = 768mb 3x256
    PSU = DC out put 230watts

    thanks Yankeebean

        everest home free edition might give us some clues

        under computer there's an overclock

        at the top is the report/quick report/plain text, we don't need all the zeros

        what drivers did you load after putting pro on the old computer?
