Sorry, my english is nt so good...
Though I installed divxcodec 4.11 and the playa, I'm not able to watch movies with the format; DVDRip-DivX.avi? Not even on divx player. The movie starts, but it is only 9 sec. long - but has 200MB. Does the new codec 4.11 work on XP or the new MP2 ? Is it enough to install the codec 4.11.exe file? Or do you have to copy it into a system file (should be done automatically, shouldn't it?)? with the DivX "Playa" the movie starts but shows only the first five seconds of a 90min file with all dvdrip-Dvix.avi-files. The other player, the Power DIVX Next Generation even does not upload the file - it wont start! The Mediaplayer wont read the codec and therefor not accept any avi/Dvix format! Could fix a few movies using "AntiFreeze", but on others i got this "Unable to create filters for ...(Path)" error report. The movies are d/l from the net. Maybe a few are broken? But they have the full d/l-lenghts. Thx for your support! |
