Angry-2 HELP! I broke my win98se key!

AAAAARGH!

I think I've bu@@ered the region reigistry key WIN98SE for DVD playback.

Played about with DVD genie yesterday before reading the warnings and replaced my Gxxxx..? key with a C:100000 key (generated by DVD genie).

Thought I had a backup*of the entire registry, but it doesn't do anything with the key.

Is there any way of re-generating the key from scratch without re-installing windows on a re-formatted hard-drive?

I've tried dvdrgn, but it doesn't do anything (is it dependent on having win 98's dvdplay installed, and if so how do I install it?).
