Flask Mpeg crashes Win 2k

When I try and encode a movie with the 4.?? version of the DivX codec, about 10 minutes into the process, win 2k restarts and the error log says that it was restarted because of a bug check, the older codecs (DivX Fast motion ) work fine, anyone know whats going on?

Flask does not like to pull movies directly from disc...I had the same problem with both 2000 and XP. Now, when I use SmartRipper to extract the vob files, then run flask on the HD copy, everything works beautifully...drop me a note if you need more help
