Well, PlayStation 3 owners, we've got good news and we've got bad news. On the one hand, we finally have a drop date for the PlayStation 3's answer to Microsoft's Achievements along with a peak at the entire 2.40 update that's heading our way Wednesday. The bad news is that to enjoy these shining prizes, you'll have to break out your catalog of updates PS3 games and play them again.
This sucks a little, because achievement/trophies are good when you're playing the game, but I'm not sure you would want to play them again just to get the trophies (although it does add to the experience when one decides to replay a game at a later date)
The firmware update will be available today or tomorrow, depending on where you are
