    Blu-Ray Group Explores 3-D Possibilities

Hollywood is going 3-D and BD is looking to keep up with the times. According to EE Times, The Blu-Ray Disc Association is currently developing its stance on bringing stereoscopic 3-D technology into homes.

You can already get those 3D system found in IMAX theatres for your DVD player for about $200.

Do they make any DVDs that use polarized IMAX glasses? I've gotten some (Shrek 3D, Spy Kids 3D) that come with the red/blue kind... and I absolutely hate those because it makes the movie only have two colors.

I haven't seen any IMAX DVDs that had 3D glasses with them... we saw a movie called Magnificent Desolation: Walking on the Moon, and also Space Station, where we got polarized 3D glasses and it had cool 3D effects... then of course the DVD is just two-dimensional.
