A prototype of the Cell TV was revealed at the CEATEC trade show in Japan this week. According to EE Times Toshiba's Cell TV simultaneously displayed 48 video streams stored in a hard-disk drive unit. The Company also said that the new TV will be able to display and play back video content -- coming from various sources -- not only in high resolution but also in an easy-to-view manner, said Yoshihiro Nishida, senior specialist at Toshiba.
