Blu-ray Will Always Be Part of PS3, says Sony

It seemed very doubtful from the beginning that they'd try a move like dropping Blu-ray, and now Sony has quashed the rumor.

Of course... since PS3 games are stored on Blu-Ray it would be impossible to get rid of the Blu-Ray drive.

Unless, as I said before, they tried to do what the original Xbox did, where it has a BD-ROM drive but not the software needed to playback videos, and you had to pay extra for that. But then again, I wouldn't be surprised if they took back their word and did that anyway - as Sony is just that evil.

How do you open the front part of the PS3 80g? How do you open the front art of the PS3 80g?I am trying to insert the memory card from my camera, can anyone explain how I do this? I've seen in a video, the man lifts the front left section up to reveal slots for memory cards?
