The previously announced PS3 motion controller's release date has been delayed until the US autumn/fall this year. The original release date was set to be spring of this year. This follows Microsoft's announcement that their full body motion sensing device, Project Natal, will be available just before the holiday season this year as well.
The PS3 motion controller follows the same principle as the Wii motion controller, but adds improved accuracy through the use of a camera and light source on the lollipop shaped controller.
Microsoft's Project Natal goes in a different direction to both the Wii and the PS3 motion controller, removing the need for any controllers at all and allows the user to use body movements to control games.
