The Congressional International Anti-Piracy Caucus has released a report that lists The Pirate Bay, and five other sites, as being "notorious" in the online piracy trade.
IsoHunt, Mp3fiesta (Ukraine), Rapidshare (Germany), RMX4U.com (Luxembourg) were also listed. And even Chinese search giant Baidu, "China's Google" as referred to by some, was named and shamed.
"The end result is the loss of billions of dollars in revenue for the U.S. each year and even greater losses to the U.S. economy in terms of reduced job growth and exports," Virginian Republican Rep. Bob Goodlatte said in a statement.
The RIAA's chairman Mitch Bainwol was in full support of the findings of the report.
