Samsung's BD-C8000 is the company's first portable Blu-ray player, that also features Blu-ray 3D support. While the player includes a nice 10.1" screen, those thinking that adding a pair of glasses is all your need to enjoy Blu-ray 3D will be disappointed.
The included screen will only play Blu-ray movies in 2D, and those that want to access the 3D function will need to connect to a suitable 3D capable TV.
That aside, the player includes all the niceties, such as Wi-Fi, access to Samsung Apps including YouTube, Twitter, Flickr, Pandora, Facebook and Blockbusters and even media sharing through the DLNA compatible AllShare.
With the Nintendo 3DS coming out with a 3D screen that does not need 3D glasses, perhaps the next iteration of portable Blu-ray 3D players will follow suit and provide us a taste of 3D movies without glasses.
