"When you have eliminated all which is impossible, then whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth." - Sherlock Holmes ( The Adventure of the Blanched Soldier.) In December 1995 the National Democratic Committee dropped its lawsuit with the Bush Administration that the DNC had initiated when it was tipped to the fact that the Bush Administration had made inquiries as to the nature of a trip Bill Clinton had made to the Soviet Union in 1968. The lawsuit, and subsequent press exposure, effectively stopped the Bush Administration from discerning an answer to their question, that is: Did Bill Clinton go to the Soviet Union in 1968 to attend a communist training facility? The American public knows that would be absurd, because if Mr. Clinton was a Soviet-trained agent, he would behave in a certain way, and would surely give himself away by his actions. What would be the goals of such a man? Is it a legitimate inquiry to ask what a Presidential candidate was doing visiting a War-time enemy in 1968? And if so, why didn't the Bush Administration press the issue and countersue the DNC and demand an answer? These are the questions this treatise will attempt to discern, given the nature of the secrecy surrounding the case. When the question was asked, who would the Bush Administration have asked? Would it have been the Passport Division of the State Department as claimed? They could verify that a passport was issued, but nobody reports their travel itinerary to this office. Who else but the CIA has the resources to investigate a citizen's movements and activity/involvement when the trail (now 20+ years old) is cold? Bush trusted the CIA. They were his boys...he headed them up during the Ford years (post-Watergate, when they were "Kinder and Gentler" and scrambling to distance themselves from the charges that Nixon had used them to investigate his political enemies and cover up his impeachable crimes.) And hereby lies the rub- if it came out that Bush used the CIA to check up on a political adversary he would be charged with an "Impeachable Offense" which would leave a stain on his legacy, and might affect the political careers of his sons. For that reason he didn't counter-sue the DNC, he delayed the trial process as long as he could, he concocted the cover-story about the passport division, blocked further investigation into the matter which would uncover his flimsy passport division ruse, and he sighed with relief when the suit was dropped rather than pursuing the issue to disclose the true nature and origins of William Jefferson Clinton. But the lawsuit from the DNC was to prevent the question from being asked- how could they possibly know that the question had even been asked? That's what the Bush Administration wanted to find out. There were only so many people in the loop who would know the request had been made- the CIA Director, who would have passed it to the Assistant Director in charge of the Soviet Branch, who had passed it to the head of the Soviet Counter-Intelligence Division (Aldridge Ames) who asked his agents in the field to checkup on it. Almost immediately after this chain of events occurred the DNC filed its suit. Bush called in the FBI to plug the CIA leak, and all parties involved were surveiled. (3/94) After a year, the FBI caught Aldridge Ames making a "dead drop" and wheedled a confession from him. The FBI discovered that Ames had not only been passing information to the Soviets, but that he had disclosed the original 30 agents to them (all of whom the USSR eliminated- 10 by execution, and had them replaced by their own KGB personnel.) Ames wouldn't have been the one to tell the DNC of the request- he knew that their reaction would have sparked the very kind of investigation which got him caught. The leak to the DNC, therefore, had to come from the KGB themselves. Why? The KGB knew that a rash reaction by the DNC would cause an internal CIA investigation costing them not only Ames, but the other 30 KGB moles as well- the whole Counter-Intelligence Branch of the CIA- the intelligence coup of the century. This is the reason Americans learned of the fall of the Berlin Wall on CNN ( as well as the independence, one-by-one, of all the Eastern European countries, the Balkans, and the breakup of the Soviet Union and the ousting of the communists.) The information the CIA was being fed was coming from the KGB, and was only what they wanted us to know. Why would they give this up? The answer could only be that what they gained by preventing the Clinton travel question from being asked was far greater than what they lost by giving up their deep penetration of the CIA. But why would a question about a person's travel itinerary be such a dangerous thing to ask- it's a question every member of our Armed Forces would be expected to answer in order to receive a Top Secret Security Clearance- and who has more need of a clearance than the Commander-In-Chief? In 1968 Richard Nixon had been elected President, but he did not assume that role until January 20, 1969- Inauguration Day. It took Secretary of State Henry Kissinger some time to work-up "Detente" with the Soviet Union. That didn't occur until the Chinese were appeased so that we could be enabled to get out of Viet Nam without losing face ( Nixon was Time Magazine's Man of the Year in 1971 for his China trip). Prior to "Detente" (1974 Oslo Treaty) there were no tourist visas available for Americans- entry was highly restricted to people with Diplomatic Passports, Press Visas, Athletic groups and their entourages for specific events, certain school tour groups, and certain businessmen which the USSR specifically requested for a specific need. In other words, you couldn't simply apply for a tourist visa and go in and roam- you had to be invited in because of your expertise, and be sponsored/supervised by a controlling authority to a specific event. To put this in perspective, ten years before 1968- in 1958, Lee Harvey Oswald was allowed entry only after he gave up his U.S. Citizenship and requested asylum. The USSR was our wartime enemy. Theories that Clinton was working for the CIA don't wash either. President Bush was probably first advised of Clinton's USSR trips on one of his daily briefings by the CIA director. Nevertheless, when Bush asked the director to check up on it, the director would have made a cursory search of the files to see if any internal records existed and President Bush would have been apprised. According to the Free Republic's "Footprints" section, the only verifiable payments Mr. Clinton received from a "political" source were those from the British Peace Counsel (a division of the World Peace Counsel...which is fully funded by the KGB and its successors.) The chronology has Clinton working for Sen. Fulbright (D, Ak) in high school where he wins "Boys State" and a Fulbright Scholarship to Georgetown University where he earns a BA in International Studies (the department headed by Carroll Quigley who Free Republic identifies as a communist activist.) Upon graduation he receives a Rhodes Scholarship set up by Cecil Rhodes for scholar/athletes (what was Bill's sport?) to attend Oxford University in London. Oxford doesn't take attendance or give mid-term exams...one only need pass the year-end orals ( which Clinton failed to do, being put on probation after his first year and being asked to leave after his second.) Clinton describes that period as enriching due to his many travels throughout Europe. One of his travels was documented in a book by Father Richard McSorley (a Jesuit priest/Professor from Georgetown University) in his book "Peace Eyes" written in 1974 before Clinton has been elected Governor of Arkansas. Father McSorley describes being introduced to young Clinton as a fellow Georgetown University scholar who follows him from London to a peace conference in Oslo. Bill then invites him to come see a demonstration Clinton is putting on in Moscow's Red Square in January 1970. Afterwards the two travel together to Prague where Clinton has a tete-a-tete with Maria Svermova, the founder of the Czechoslovakian Communist Party. When I was in St. Petersburg in June, 1996, after checking into my hotel I took a stroll by the Neva River and asked a passer-by for directions. When I asked her what the building with the beautiful white onion domes on the other side of the river was, she said, "That's Solminski Sobor. I'm going there now, would you like to join me?" I said yes and strolled along with her to the bridge. When she found out I was from the USA she asked if I was here in peace. I said, "if not, I need a lot of people behind me." She laughed, and we continued along on our way to the Sobor (Church). She made a point of showing me a large modern building on the way saying, "That's the International University, are you here to attend?" Suddenly visions flashed through my mind of the pictures I had seen of General Giap and Ho Chi Minh with their heads circled in a class picture at the International University. This was the place promising young communists were brought to get their training before returning home to foment communist revolution in their countries. I told her, "No. I'm not a communist, I'm a capitalist pig." She smiled slyly and gave me a knowing look. It seemed the only foreigners she had met who were fluent in Russian were enrollees, and why would I be any different. But she was polite, and let the subject drop. We were now turning onto a long tree-lined, car-less boulevard which dead-ended at a large old building surrounded by a tall iron picket fence. She pointed to right wing of the building and told me that Lenin's apartment during the revolution was there on the second floor. As I moved forward to the tall iron fence, several large, burley men who had been milling about in the courtyard turned and looked in our direction. She grabbed my arm and pulled me away. She was obviously nervous, and I instinctively knew that the building was communist party headquarters. We continued our stroll across an expansive garden with water-less fountains to Solminski Sobor. She, it turned out, was a school teacher with her summer free, and she spent the next week showing me her St. Petersburg through Russian eyes. I saw many beautiful places in St. Petersburg, but the one I'll always remember will be the International University. It's easy walking distance from Finski Vaksal (the Finland Train Station...Helsinki being less than 100 miles away.) Could this be the reason Bill Clinton was invited into the USSR in 1968- to attend this or a similar training facility? It would certainly explain the reaction of the KGB and the DNC... in fact- try to think of another reason why they reacted the way they did to an inquiry of Clinton's travel itinerary. But, though I can't prove what Clinton was doing in the USSR in a courtroom without physical evidence of enrollment records, this had to be what logically occurred given subsequent events in Clinton's life. . Upon return to England, this man leapt from obscurity to become the person who planned the antiwar activity in his area of responsibility. To stage an antiwar event or demonstration one has to know who one's soldiers are. Clinton would call the various leaders of the hippie communes, explain his plan, and the communal leaders would rally their people, anti-draft sympathizers, and show up at the designated time to get their heads beaten in by night-sticks. And Bill Clinton never attended a single demonstration. Why else would these hippie communal leaders do anything this man said were it not for the fact that THEY believed he shouldered the mantle of leadership bequeathed by Moscow, and that what they were doing was somehow part of a coordinated effort to promote World Communism. Not everybody who participated in antiwar demonstrations were communists. In fact, most were duped. But as David Horowitz ( in 1968 the editor of Ramparts magazine and antiwar activist himself) points out in his book "Radical Son", the Real leaders of the antiwar movement were, indeed, communists. Once the truth is accepted about who Bill Clinton is, everything else about his hodgepodge life seems to neatly fall in place, and he suddenly becomes not only understandable, but predictable as well. He's totally corrupt- lying is not just second nature, it's a way of life. The man simply cannot tell the truth. His Chinese Communist friends have been helping him since his early days in Arkansas politics. Drug smugglers are always around, because during the cold war many poor communist countries used their intelligence networks as smuggling rings to pay for their espionage activities ( the skill sets needed in both professions are the same). Elaborate schemes to funnel bribe money through what appears to be legitimate business ventures is passed off as business as usual. But what is really scary is the extent of ruthlessness his administration is willing to go to prevent discovery of their true nature. The "suicides" of Vince Foster, Admiral Borda, Ron Brown, and the Arkansas State Trooper turned body guard- all dying when their loyalty was starting to be in question. Judge Starr knew this man well... when faced with the opportunity to tell the truth or a lie, Clinton will always choose to lie. He views us as the enemy (The Clinton's refer to Republicans as "Evil" people), he hates the United States and will never resign for the good of the country. He will have to be dragged from the White House. But recently a more disturbing side has reared its head- more disturbing than using stolen FBI files to destroy his enemies through sex scandals, selling top secret missile technology to the Communist Chinese to allow them the capability to attack us with nuclear weapons, or his attempts to nationalize the entire health care industry. What I'm referring to is his use of the Armed Forces of the United States to attack sovereign countries at strategic times during the impeachment ordeal to delay/prevent having to give testimony at the Grand Jury, and to attempt to delay the Impeachment vote into the next Congress where he would have 5 more democrat votes. He's acting like a big child with big toys throwing a temper tantrum, and what's scary about that is, as President of the United States, he has the power to launch, without oversight, thermonuclear weapons. Clinton is a poor man, with no resources of his own outside politics. If he's disgraced and removed from office ( or believes he inevitably will be) he will have nothing to live for, and will attempt to launch a nuclear strike to take the world with him in mass suicide reminiscent of Jim Jones at Jonestown. Think about it. He's predictable.
