problems with the subs

I have a problem with the DivXLand Media Subtitler 2.0.5. THe subs work for me but when i embed the subtitles and make a new xvid/avi the subs appear on the video.. IS there anyway for me to lower the subtitles position..ALL helps will be appreciated. Thanx

Only certain formats like SSA or SAMI can be repositioned from the Subtitle's settings dialog box on the program.
