Media Subtitlers Question?

There a black box that behind my sub and I want to take it off is there any way I can take the box off? The Program is call DivXland or Media Subtitlers.

that happened to me too but when i placed the subs into my video, that box disappeared. i think that box is just a way to show you that its gonna appear in that section of the video when added.
