    Lite-On iHAS124 B Firmware MD5 dont tally

I've looked at some of the downloads from FIRMWARE HQ D/L page

and the Md5 check sum don't tally.

There was a download problem with the server (download was ending prematurely), which has now been fixed (and the MD5 checksum should now match).

Note that during testing, I found that Norton picked up this particular firmware file as "malicious", but having sourced the same file from other websites (for example, from Softpedia), Norton said they were all problematic, which suggests a Norton false positive. A Jotti online virus scan seems to confirm the false positive.

I too can't download the firmwares for these files. I end up with a 63kb file, tried on 3 different pc's, all running different versions of windows, totally frustrating.

Furthermore i have installed PLDS Smartpack and it messes my system up, it just sits in the tray and i can't get it to do anything other than constantly light my hard drive activity light up

It should be fixed for now, but I've said that before, so I'll keep on testing ...
