Anyone know where to get 3D Dvd's on the net, I just bought a new Samsung 101cm 3DTV and I'm having trouble finding a decent site selling them. Anyone got any idea what good 3D films are I want to make the most out of this new purchase?

You'll also need a 3D Blu-ray player to play 3D Blu-ray discs.
There isn't a whole lot of stuff you can buy. Monsters vs Aliens comes with Samsung hardware, so if you purchase their 3D Blu-ray player, you may get this movie along with 2 pairs of glasses as a bonus offer on right now (or you can purchase the kit separately).
Panasonic have two movies (Ice Age 3 and Coraline), but both are not for general sale.
About the only other movie you can buy is Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs. But it's over priced at $36.
Best to wait 6 month when plenty of 3D stuff will be available for not much more than your average Blu-ray disc. -
Hi,
I have the same problem, I just got a new samsung 55" LED 3D TV and got the free 3D bluray player and 4 Rechargable glasses with it.
I also got a free 120GB PS3 and apparently there is a firmware update coming to be able to play 3D movies on your ps3 so maybe consider getting one of those as it does more then just watch movies. If you come across any more 3D movies please let me know

If you have the Samsung, then you can play 3D clips via the USB input (unlike Panasonic, which doesn't seem to accept 3D videos through USB, from what I've read). Here are some demo materials to get your started:

Thank you guys, the Ant trailer did work well on my new LG 3d via usb stick with this dl, and I hope the Manchester game highlight will be the same (In the process of DL ) LG was not very helpful with this and they provided me with only one pair of 3D glasses (rechargeable via usb)

I think there should be a setting on your TV to select the type of 3D video (side-by-side in this case, but there are also checkerboard, top-and-bottom ... and also possibly a setting to reverse the left/right), at least there's an option to do that on my Samsung (http://content.reviewed.com/products...50-menu-3D.jpg).Comment

3D television is dead: Samsung and LG cut back on 3D TV production
I have a samsung with 3D & It works fine. Occasionally I do bump up the brightness setting when viewing a 3D due to the reduction of brightness with the glasses. & then change back when finished
My local library has bought the Blu ray dvd combo packs that has 3D disk as well so all 3 options are available for loan/rent for $1Comment

Not to necro this, but I have had great success finding 3D Blu-rays at used/trade stores since it seems everyone had given up on it but I just got the display hardware last year. Inexpensive great 3D movies for me!
You can find some on Amazon too in "best of 3D" multi-packs which are a good value if you like nature films.Comment
