My keyboard is acting weird when i try to put a @ it puts a ".I made sure the region is set correctly but its stillacting weird.

if the "Num Lock" key is on try it with it off. For some reason my keyboard sometimes acts up with the "Num Lock" key on.Comment

Since you obviously use P2P, I would suspect a stealthy virus/trojan/malware.
I scan from safe mode using fully updated norton's, spybot AND trojanhunter.
It's a royal pain and a lenghty process. And I just found out that windows can hide values in the registry, GREAT!
Nowdays you can get infected with a keylogger just by going to the wrong
webpage and saying yes, not no. It starts as a trojandownloader, then
builds from there.Comment

as i asked in my previous post, how long has this been happening? maybe you coujld try a 'system restore' if its recent?
and you probably have already done so, but check for spyware/adware
i'm not sure whether you have a firewall installed. get one if you don't already have one. (the windows xp sp2 firewall does not count, and should not be taken seriously. i could probably write a better one in a few minutes
).

I don't think its a trojan or anything because it was like this when I first installed windows.

If you did a clean install of windows, not a repair disk?
Booted to cd, or reinstalled from hard drive(hidden partition).
I have had installs of windows glitch and had to redo them.Comment
