unstable system, now what's causing it, that's the 64K question.
Let's narrow it down a little and be more specific.
first post the latest(last complete?/at bottom) nero log, noting and post the modified date in properties.

    "C:\Program Files\Ahead\Nero\NeroHistory.log"

I am assuming you have an XP prof., Your OS has become unstable and some rogue software is resposible for changing the system configuration.

Usually the OS (XP) runs the core(NT kernel) in a separate memory space than the applications and is able to seggregate the illegal memory calls to prevent the OS from crashing.

But since in your case the application is causing the OS to crash. Remove all the software that you mention above from your OS and reboot.

Install one of them again and test it, if it crashes, you will have to reinstall the OS again and then try again. if it does not work, then you might need a install from scratch. Take professional help if you cant work this out.

This a generic approach but if you have a bad hardware or IRQ's clashing, that can also cause the crashes.

kinds hard to get all that on a single layer disk
