we loaded one computer for a friend/client with a rather large business,
we installed nortons, spybot, teatimer and set it up for full protection.
He wanted to read his aol mail from home, he was on telco dsl at his office
After loading every aol service and doing a little surfing where he shouldn't have and saying yes instead of no and next thing windows was hosed,
never could fix it even with repair, after 2 hours we just reloaded.
Left all protection off and said load whatever he wanted, and wished him luck.

just to be safe update nortons virus def's and boot into safe mode
and do a full system scan

I was told your problem with dvdd may be virus related

hi guy

i can open the DVD Decypter now,because i go to system configuration ultility and uncheck this program ''LacViet mtd300 Service '' then i see no more file :LSVICENT.EXE on Windows Task Manager/Processes with 90% CPU.But do you know why when i do End Process this file LSVICENT.EXE ,my computer get freeze.THANKS FOR HELP GUYS.
