Is there any method to convert this type of connectors?

Hey! I got a need to convert parallel port into usb or firewire either.
Unluckily I am unsure which connector to use or even unsure
such conversion is possible by tech specs...

What method do you guys suggest for me?

Oh, yeah! That's what I was looking for!! The second one!

BTW, is that converter works well with all encoders supposed to work by parallel port?? Any one have used it before??

what's it for? encoding? parallel port's transer rate is extremely low!

Yeah, it is for encoding, but transfer rate doesn't matter for me!
Because my encoder is made to work with low transfer rate of parallel port,
absolutely no problem if the second one could work with my encoder
namely Studio MP10, I am just thinking only...

I am now afraid there is no one could answer my question
since MP10 is too dated encoder...Then I am gonna try the second
converter myself and post the result soon. Thanks for replies guys!
