    Problem with my DVD burner

Ok. My DVD burner was working fine last night before I formatted. I have a LG GSA-4167 Black 16x DVD +/-R/RW/RAM Dual layer IDE OEM (http://canadacomputers.com/index.php...023&cid=CR.184) I've had no problems with it up untill this morning when I tried to backup a movie. When there's no blank DVD in it under 'My Computer' it's labeled as DVD-RAM Drive (E: ) and when I put a blank DVD in it it sais CD Drive (E: ) I checked to make sure it was plugged in correctly and it is. I tried the same thing with a normal blank CD and the same thing happened. When I try to open up my drive I get an error "E: \ is not accessible. Incorrent function" I put in an actual DVD movie and it worked. Under device manager it sais "This device is working properly" (obviously not) WTF is going on? Someone help me out here...

    Peace

After formatting did you grab the latest Mobo drivers ? Not saying thats it but I sure learned a lot over the last week about how important controller drivers are to dvd burners .

    Good Luck
