I have a problem when inserting a CD

I have just getting a new computer a couple of days ago. It has a CD/DVD Re-writer drive. For the first day or so when I put a CD or disc in it was working fine. However over the last two days nothing happens but if I leave the CD in and restart my computer, it shows up when it has rebooted.

I have been putting some music CD's in my drive. When I put them in the name of the drive changes to CD Drive but when I open it up it says it has no files on it. However, I did something and clicked Volume and it showed up all the CD tracks and when I go into iTunes and click Run CD Diagnostics I am getting this:

Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 2 (Build 2600)
    Packard Bell NEC 00000000000000000000000
    iTunes 6.0.2.23
    CD Driver Not Available
    CD Driver DLL 2.0.3.2

Video Driver: ATI RADEON XPRESS 200 Series\ATI RADEON XPRESS 200 Series

If you have multiple drives on the same IDE or SCSI bus, these drives may interfere with each other.
Some computers need an update to the ATA or IDE bus driver, or Intel chipset. If iTunes has problems recognizing CDs or hanging or crashing while importing or burning CDs, check the support site for the manufacturer of your computer or motherboard.
    Current user is administrator.
