Page file question w/ aux hdd....

    Page file question w/ aux hdd....

    Added a usb connected 120gb hdd for video processing.
    System 80gb hdd page file size set to 1536mb min. and max.
    Physical ram is 2x512mb.
    Should external hdd have a paging file? Sized to 4096mb min./max.?
    Comments, recommendations please.

    By default, winodws manages the page file or swap file in the OS partition (C: drive). AFAIK, my system would run better if I transfer my page file to a different partition created in a different hard drive than the one which holds the OS. If you have only one hard drive, just leave pale file in C: drive. The external USB HDD shouldn't have any pale file
