    Defrag problems

    Hi all,
I need a little help with an error message.

I use an external 250 GB Maxtor HD for backing up files and movies. I formated this HD in FAT32 due to an older machine needing backup. I can't seem to get rid of this file path on the HD.
    Thanks,
    CJ

I fixed it by going back to the 98se computer and deleting the files from there.
I then updated my back up files. I ran a defrag on the external HD with the xp computer and everything is A.O.K. No more error message. However, I also noticed that the FAT32 files system will only allow you to back up 4 GB at a time. This is a real drag due to folders containing a lot of data. Looks like I will have to back up manually (copy/paste).
