Microsoft ++ Visual C++ Runtime Library? <<<<<<HELP PLEASE

Igot this message when i turn my pc on, and my DVD-ROM and DVD BURNER dont work, i tried to uninstall them and when the Plug and Play get the signal says that the hardware wont work properly .

i never heard of or used discover.

some 1st possibilities . . .
- scan your drive for bad sectors (possible damaged files)
- your hardware could be faulty (check cables/connections too)
- software conflicts (including viruses/adware)

Anyhow, people here that could help you, need alot more informatiom on your system and what your running.
A good start is to do what Experi-Mentor suggests.....with an emphasis on AntiVirus/SpyWare stuff.
