    ASUS board and graphics

im just about to purchase an ASUS A8N SLI Premium motherboard and i just wondered if anyone had any suggestions for graphics cards to do video editing? Is there a certain brand that would work better with this motherboard? im looking to spend about £130 on my graphics card, any help would be much appreciated. thanks

I have an inferior K8se board with a Radeon X800256 Pro. I use a K world video capture PCI card. I would use a separate capture card from the video output. I think you can get better performance that way. A better graphics and and a higher quality Video capture card would give you a more flexible setup. I have found ATI cards to be superior for most applications and their Catalysts software just can't be beat and it is always free. They use one driver for all their cards. The hydravision multi-monitor software is excellent, also.
