    Works

i recently tried sending an Works document over email, but the recipient couldnt open it and asked for a Word document. I do not have Micro Office, but rather Works - is there any way i send this Works document to her so that she can read it? Thanks everyone!

If you have Adobe Acrobat Writer, you could create a pdf file. The Adobe Reader software is free on the internet. Most computers have the free Adobe Reader. You can get it from www.downloads.com.
Chewy's suggestion about RTF format can be found in your "save as", "file format." You can also send it by copying and pasting the text of the document into the text window of the e-mail. It won't format the same way but the info will be there. Your friend would have to fix it at their end.
