Problem with backed up game

I made a back up of temple of elemental evil with cloneCD i ripped it to the hard drive and then i burnt it,it went succeful apart from when i pick to load the game it has a loading sign and then nothing happens.help appriceted.

i installed the patches and it still doesn't work.

OK heres EXACTLY what i done:I used CloneCD 5.2.7.1 to read image and then i selected copy protcted game then i began ripping it completed ripping and said it was succeful,then i burned the image with cloneCD at 8x speed with verbatim CD-R that went succeful.then when i try to play the disc it has a disc sign[loading sign] then nothing happened.Just a minute ago i tried ripping gta vice city then i tried mounting it with daemon tools then when i try to play the exact same thing happens,the screen goes blank.

does the original cd work?

download a fixed exe

You need to set the preferences(rightclick/edit) for copy game(read speed)
to a slow setting, and do it in a durn good burner.
Then maybe it might install from a cruddy one depending upon the protection.
That's why a lot of people have just gone to the no cd patches.

download a fixed exe

yes the original cd does work,sorry if this sounds stupid but whats a "fixed" exe

when you try to run a game it checks to see the original cd is in the drive. a fixed exe disables this and lets you run the game without one

do a full install from the original then use my link to download the appropriate fixed exe and replace the normal one. You play the game with no cd

Just one more thing,i couldn't find a fixed exe for vice city on gamecopyworld is there any other site where i can find this?
