AVG Acting Up?

It is considering ffdshow as a virus? Is this a bug or what?

a lot of virus do infect regular .exe files
haven't gotten any programs off P2P lately?

drf, I get this too from AVG when I've downloaded certain utilities. At first I deleted the downloads, then I healed the trojan and continued loading the program, had no problems. I think its just something in the program, maybe to do with how it accesses the net ( if it does, I haven't used this particular program ) that sets off the virus warning.

This is just my thoughts, perhaps someone else who uses this proggie will be able to help you more..........

just make sure you get ffdshow & x264 from a reliable source http://www.x264.nl

I have avg and I use ffdshow and I have not had that problem.

Well Chewy, I already click on "Heal", so would that still be a problem?

btw uninstall & reinstall; "heal" may have interfered with installation. click ignore this time around
