Can't get autoplay to work on DVD Drive

New PC is not autorunning - I insert a CD or DVD and it spins, disk is recognised. I can click the drive in My Computer and it will bring up an Explorer window only.

DVD Movies are not being recognised (and offering me the chance to decrypt, play etc), CDs with autorun.infs same thing. They just spin up ready for me to double click the drive in Mt Computer.

I have tried the things suggested in KB330135 (autoplay was not selected in HKLM/System/CCS/Services/CDRom, but setting it to 1 did not solve the issue).

Anybody got any ideas how to fix this? TIA

I actually suspected my DVD-RAM driver. All's well that ends well (depending on if you like autoplay or not).
