it's a simple matter to clean all them up and test to see if your problem disappears, you can always reinstall the programs one by one and test inbetween.

Have you tried running windows as a repair disk?
I'm scared I might lose all my work I have on my hard drive.
It's a repair operation, not a clean install, I have done it many times, a few times it fixes the problems, it never has hosed data or other programs, you do lose all windows updates.
mattcharles, you can't have your cake and eat it too.
It was suggested that you do a clean install of windows, that is always the best option. Most experienced users don't hose their OS but every so often
they clean install just because after enough time windows becomes corrupt.
