Windows Optional Update Info Requested?

As I have admitted here many times & probably shown more, I am not PC savvy. High Priority updates for Windows I have automatic updates set for them but when I check start / programs / Windows Update there are optional ones to choose from. So I thought I would start this thread for people like myself to hopefully get help deciding to take them or not. If more info is recquired just let me know or anybody else who decides to post in this thread.

Whichever update number you have, you can plug in and there is usually most of the info you need.
