Need help with VDD & do I bury My LG?

As I was going to use Nero Info Tool the message on the first attachment came up. I have been trying to find out more about it but basically I'm stuck. I also don't know if this is part of the same problem or just coincidence but Saturday night I did a test burn with ImgBurn, no log (I know) as it went to verify it errored out. Since then no disc is recognized in that drive, playing or burning, dvd or cd. I have latest firmware, checked DMA & uninstalled & let windows reinstall both primary & secondary. Now I accept the fact that My LG could be toast or done like dinner but I thought I could at least use the expertise here to check it out first because mine has run out. I know this ain't techy talk but hopefully it is clear.

Update: It looks like I solved the VDD problem. Just in case anybody else runs in to the first attachment, here are a couple of links that might help you out.
