Hi i'm running Windows xp home sp2 & have loaded more than one copy of nero with the same outcome . when i click on nero start smart & choose data or music or video i get a message box popup saying X Fatal Error:
installation corrupted - please reinstall NERO .Anyone out there had this problem or know how to fix

Uninstall it again and then run the Clean Tool from Nero here

Then try reinstalling and updating it again
