noone would want to do much with this setup

gamers wont be satisfied with a 6200 pci and nongamers could as well stay with their onboard card

We've had a few people who have asked about upgrading and pci cards have been too expensive, this one was dx9 and opengl 1.5,

It depends entirely on the onboard graphics

a couple of reasons to get one if no agp slot,

            -dxva
            -dual displays/tv out
            -faster ui

3d performance would be better than usual onboard, but any decent mobo (nowadays) will have a pci-x slot or two

I intended it for older computers with very lame onboard, some even only share 8 megs of memory

it might allow something ~1Ghz to play 1080i mpeg2

For real hard core gamers it might not be quite enough, but when I had my first machine that had the 8 meg onboard video, I found an Xtasy Radeon 9250 pci 128meg 400Mhzeffective DDR Dx9 compatible OpenGL 240 Mhz VPU core on sale with a rebate final cost about $30. I was way happy not to have to spend $100 or more on it, and it enabled me to play what the onboard graphics would not. Seems to be a nice inexpencive upgrade. My .02
