I have Nero Vision Express3 installed on a laptop. When starting a project , I NEVER get an option to "MAKE DVD" . I only get the "MAKE CD " option.(with the sub menu allowing a MINI DVD (whatever that may be)).
My laptop only has a cd burner/dvd reader. Is this the reason I dont get a 'make dvd' option? I have plugged in an external (usb) dvd burner and I still cant get the "make dvd" option.
Any ideas??

does the nero burning rom part(not nero vision) see the usb drive(which recorder would you like to use)?

did you have your external on while you upgrade or redown load nero?

Yes Chewy, it does, and NightTran, I dont think I did have, because after turning off and replugging and starting, hey Presto. I now have an option to burn dvd's. Thankyou both for your help.

Question 2?? What does nCANNOT CONNECT TRF mean in the Nero error log? the burn failed and gave this as the error?

Hold that previous post about cannot connect trf, just found supermichaels prob and saw stuff on web about same issue. I upgraded to the latest nero to get dvd enabled.Ha! Now that is the cause of my trf prob. Typical!
I will follow Chewy's advice and disable Nero in Shrinks preferences, but then???
to burn do you just grab the ts file and drag it to neroexpress when it asks to add file?????
