I'm the new folding user called "anonymous".

You said something like "We get people to join and then they fade away."
Then I answered "No, I won't", which meant that I wouldn't fade away.

Has anybody been keeping an average, I don't mean personal points but a team weekly or monthly total? Why I am asking is just curiousity because with two months to go to the end of the year & 700+ to get to the 2000 mark, what does it look like? I know it is all about the Folding but I don't see the harm in having a little team spirit along the way. Mine's rye (JK).

@soup - right now we have 15 members listed on the team page but about half do not have a WU completed in the last month or more. I think they stopped folding Some people posted they were joining and I think they never ran the program long enuff to complete a WU. Ah well, it'll just take a lil longer to move up the ranks, but it is all about contributing to what I think is a good cause. I'll continue to run the program as long as I have a PC up and running. My 2 boxes are still going 24/7

I think most people are afraid to run 24/7.. I did it for years with SETI and never wore a box out. Always remember to clean the dust bunnies out on a regular basis and make sure the fans are working properly.

The site for the stat signatures is still down. Does anybody know if there is another site. I see some other teams on other forums have custom stat signatures that are different from the ones we use. I wonder how they did it?

                  Weird?

Last couple of days have had to restart my PC a couple of times. This is the third time that this particular work unit has started from 0/500. The reason why I am posting is that I have never had that happen before.

Hmm, did ya close down F@H first? I don't run the GUI version, I run the text console. How about your backup folder, no good?

I never had to close it down before, just log off but I am trying a little test to see if it was just that work unit. Will let you know. As to the backup folder, I kinda got caught being lazy because everything had been working so good (LOL). If you know what I mean.

                        Gromaced.

Well I did my test & it seems that this new work unit is okay. I paid for it though, I went from Amber to Gromac (LMAO).

My computer was also shutting down. This friend of mine told me to check the fan. It was pretty cloged up and dirty. I blew it out, and vacuumed the fan and area, and I also added an intake fan since my other fan was an exhust fan and my computer, which seems to be doing fine now. This might not be your problem, but it might work.
