    external hard drives

    i have a 250gb external hard drive plugged in to (fast)usb 2.my question is could i rip movies directly to it?and burn directly from it at 4x would the external drive keepup with it at 4x?..if you follow me..

    yes you can rip to it and even burn up to 8x if it is format to ntsc

      ntsc?how would i know that?ps it says file system ntfs.

        if your iso is one then you have ntsc if they are a whole bunch of little one then you have fat

                @discy,, fat 32 is an older file system that does not support files larger than 4 gig. you are ok with ntfs.
