Recs on a New Video Card

Well guys new egg has a bunch of video cards but to be honest with you i dont know what to look for other than price and DVI. I need one that is under 100 dollars but doesnt have to be to fancy just for my new 19 widescreen I just got i dont want an analog signal anymore! thanks post a couple links for me to what you recommend.

pci express or agp? and what are you using now and what do you want to do with the new one?

i am using the stock sony one my vaio came with several years ago.

I dont really plan on doing anything big and very very minimal gaming.

I really dont even need one but just figured might as well upgrade to dvi.

My PC doesnt recognize the new monitor i uninstalled the old one and did a reboot and it read the new monitor as the old one. The screen doesnt seem as bright as it should it keeps say reccommend resolution 1440X900 but my pc wont alllow me to change it to that bc it doesnt recognize it.

I dont know anything abot the DIRECTX or MEMORY INTERFACE

can you just recommend soemthing

I just want a digital signal and something good for web surfing mostly

Well i ended up going with this one

I hope it wasnt a bad move it was kinda stressful bc for the first time ever i didnt know what i was really looking for.
